Celebrating Diwali | Without Family & Friends

The People staying away from their families due to various reasons like jobs, education etc. miss their families during festival. Now a day work places have also started celebrating festivals so that no one feels left out. Diwali is a festival which is celebrated with closed ones. Diwali decoration begins a month before Diwali. All the members of the house get together and clean the house. Diwali has many rituals and events where the family can enjoy together. People who stay away from their families often miss them on this day and wish to be with them. From shopping for new clothes to drawing rangolis outside the house everything is filled with full and togetherness. Most of the families also make sweets and savory food at home. People wear traditional clothes and visit their relatives. They also burst crackers together. Bhai dooj is a day when (a festival celebrating the bond between siblings) brothers visit their sisters house.
